Spring Professional Belgium is seeking an HR Operations Specialist focused on pensions and employee insurances. You will serve as the internal expert, advising employees and HR colleagues, while driving process improvements across benefits and retirement planning.

You’ll partner with Payroll, brokers and insurers, coordinate retirement simulations and support life-event scenarios, ensuring a compliant and smooth employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business Admin, Finance, Law or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7–10 years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Benefits, Payroll, Pension Administration, Insurance or similar HR specialist role.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian social legislation, employee benefits and pension processes.
• Experience handling sensitive employee cases with professionalism, empathy and confidentiality.
• Comfortable collaborating with insurers, brokers and external stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors, SAP HR, Workday or similar).
• Fluent in Dutch or French with professional working knowledge of the other national language. English is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary point of contact for pension, group insurance and disability insurance matters.
• Support and advise employees throughout long-term sickness and disability cases.
• Manage insurance claims and coordinate with Payroll, HR Business Partners, insurance brokers and insurance companies.
• Guide employees approaching retirement, prepare retirement simulations and organise retirement meetings.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth employee experience.
• Review and optimise HR processes, documentation, communications and knowledge articles.
• Identify opportunities for automation, simplification and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to HR projects related to pensions, employee benefits and employee experience.
