Nexans is seeking an HR Generalist in Belgium to partner with the HR Manager and support employees through the full lifecycle. You will manage personnel administration, onboarding/offboarding, payroll data with SD Worx, time systems with Protime, and recruitment for blue- and white-collar staff.

You will also drive training, HR policy guidance, and internal communications, contributing to a constructive social climate and ongoing improvements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Solid understanding of Belgian labour and social legislation.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage full employee administration from A to Z, including contracts, amendments, onboarding and offboarding.
• Ensure accurate tracking of absences, leave requests and other HR processes.
• Guarantee up-to-date and accurate HR data records.
• Coordinate payroll data with external provider SD Worx and meet deadlines.
• Oversee time and attendance system (Protime) and support managers in its use.
• Coordinate recruitment for blue-collar and onboarding/offboarding for all staff.
• Serve as first point of contact for day-to-day HR matters for employees and managers.
• Provide guidance on social legislation, internal policies and HR procedures.
• Build relationships to maintain a constructive social climate and support wellbeing initiatives.
• Prepare and participate in Works Council and CPPT meetings; assist in training and talent development programs.
• Maintain occupational health files and monitor long-term absences with external partners.
