A Global Biopharmaceutical Company is seeking an experienced HR Data & Insights Specialist to transform how Talent and HR data is used to support business decisions.

This role blends HR, data analytics, technology and business analysis to deliver scalable reporting solutions, dashboards and data stories using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SQL, DAX, PySpark and R. You will champion data quality, automation, and self-service analytics in a modern HR data environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with HR, Talent or workforce data within a reporting, analytics or business analysis environment.
  • Experience in Life Sciences.
  • Strong experience working with large datasets, including data preparation, transformation, validation, analysis and visualisation.
  • Strong Power BI capability, including data modelling, KPI development, dashboard creation and user-focused visualisation.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric and lakehouse-based analytics environments.
  • Experience developing, maintaining or migrating R-based reporting or analytical solutions.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and DAX.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis, KPI definition, user stories, impact assessments and UAT.
  • The ability to translate complex technical and analytical concepts into clear, practical language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence decisions.
  • Experience working with business owners, technical teams and external delivery partners.
  • A structured and detail-oriented approach, with strong ownership of delivery, quality and deadlines.
  • A proactive, service-focused mindset and the ability to manage recurring reporting alongside project-based and ad hoc priorities.
  • A genuine interest in automation, standardisation, data quality and continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

  • Deliver accurate and insightful recurring and ad hoc HR/Talent reporting and analytics.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business questions, clarify requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting outputs.
  • Analyse workforce and Talent data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable insights.
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve reporting and analytics solutions using tools such as Power BI, Excel and R.
  • Ensure reporting solutions are reliable, well documented and fit for purpose.
  • Support stakeholders in making effective use of self-service reporting and analytics tools.
  • Promote data literacy and reduce reliance on manual reporting through improved self-service capabilities.
  • Act as a key data partner to Talent and HR stakeholders, understanding their priorities, processes and analytical requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear data requirements, KPI definitions, calculation logic, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with business owners, technology teams and external partners to ensure data solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide guidance on data sources, field definitions, reporting logic and the processes that generate HR data.
  • Challenge requirements and proposed solutions constructively, recommending practical approaches that balance usability, performance, maintainability and available data.
  • Conduct gap analysis across the HR data landscape and contribute to the development of consistent, trusted data foundations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, standardisation and reuse.
  • Gather, document and prioritise requirements for dashboards, reports and analytics products.
  • Work with business and technology teams to develop intuitive, user-focused dashboards and data stories.
  • Define and validate KPIs, calculations and business rules.
  • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet agreed requirements.
  • Identify and manage issues through to resolution, assessing the impact of changes and maintaining appropriate documentation.
  • Support the deployment, training and adoption of new analytics products.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of reporting solutions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to dashboard governance, access management and the transition away from legacy reporting solutions.
  • Support and deliver projects that enhance the HR reporting and analytics experience.
  • Develop analytical solutions, proof-of-concepts and scalable data products.
  • Work within an agile environment, collaborating with subject matter experts and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions.
  • Support the migration and re-engineering of existing reporting solutions into modern data platforms and technologies.
  • Contribute to initiatives involving Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and related data technologies.
  • Maintain clear technical and business documentation, training materials and handover information.
  • Help ensure solutions are sustainable, supportable and capable of evolving with changing business needs.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HR Data & Insights Specialist to join a global organisation and play a key role in transforming how Talent and HR data is used to support business decisions.

This is a highly collaborative role sitting at the intersection of HR, data analytics, technology and business analysis. You will work closely with Talent stakeholders, technology teams and external delivery partners to turn complex business questions into meaningful insights, scalable reporting solutions and intuitive analytics products.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued development of a modern HR data and analytics environment, with a strong focus on Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, data quality, automation, self-service reporting and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
HR Reporting & Data Analytics
