Hilton Brussels Grand Place in Brussels is offering a housekeeping internship designed to develop practical hotel operations knowledge. You will be mentored by a seasoned team while performing opening and closing duties, inventory control, and cross‑department coordination to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet luxury standards.

Formación

• Fluent in French; English proficiency is a strong asset.
• Currently studying Hospitality Management or a related field.

Responsabilidades

• Housekeeping opening: assist with opening the department and assigning daily tasks.
• Housekeeping closing: support end-of-day closing and reports.
• Inventory management: monitor stock levels and coordinate orders.
• Email management: respond to requests from hotel departments and guests.
• Cross-department coordination: liaise with Front Office and Maintenance.
• Room and public area inspections: ensure quality and cleanliness standards.
• Additional responsibilities as needed to support the department.

Your Responsibilities

• Housekeeping Opening: Each morning, you will assist with opening the Housekeeping department by preparing and assigning daily tasks to team members, checking inventory levels, and ensuring everything is ready for a successful day.
• Housekeeping Closing: At the end of the day, you will support the closing of the department by ensuring all guest rooms have been cleaned according to Hilton standards, preparing end‑of‑day reports, and organizing the following day's operations.
• Inventory Management: You will help manage housekeeping inventories, including cleaning supplies and guest room amenities. This includes monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and coordinating deliveries.
• Email Management: You will manage the department's email correspondence by responding promptly and professionally to requests from hotel departments as well as guest inquiries.
• Cross‑Department Coordination: Working closely with departments such as Front Office and Maintenance, you will help ensure smooth communication and efficient operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for housekeeping‑related matters.
• Room and Public Area Inspections: You will regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet Hilton's quality and cleanliness standards. Any issues identified will be reported and followed up promptly.
• Additional Responsibilities: Depending on operational needs and ongoing projects, you may be assigned other tasks that contribute to the success of the department.

Throughout your internship, you will be mentored by our experienced Housekeeping team, who will provide practical, hands‑on training. You will gain valuable knowledge of housekeeping operations, from cleaning techniques to luxury hospitality standards.

What we're looking for

• You are fluent in French.
• A good command of English is a strong advantage.
• You are studying Hospitality Management or another relevant field.
• You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You are eager to learn and develop leadership and team management skills.
• You are available to start in 2026/ or beginning 2027 for a three to six‑month internship.
