Job summary

BESIX Group is offering an internship in Procurement and Purchasing at its Brussels head office. You will support day-to-day procurement, supplier sourcing, RFQ processes, and logistics for international projects.

You will work with experienced professionals in an international environment, developing negotiation and market research skills while contributing to a sustainable, global construction portfolio.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Trade, Purchasing, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Fluent in French/Dutch and good knowledge of English.
• Analytical mind, autonomy and rigor.
• Communicative, proactive and comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Flexible and resilient in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement & Purchasing team in day-to-day activities.
• Assist in supplier sourcing, market research, and price inquiries.
• Contribute to RFQ preparation, follow-up and evaluation.
• Support supplier comparisons, bid analyses, and recommendation reports.
• Assist with contracts, orders, and supplier databases administration.
• Assist purchasing for national and international construction projects.
• Contribute to logistics coordination and international shipments when required.
