Job summary

Besix is offering an internship in Procurement & Purchasing in Belgium for students pursuing a master’s in International Trade, Purchasing, or Supply Chain. The role provides hands-on experience with sourcing, RFQs, supplier analyses, and contract administration within an international construction context.

The internship requires at least 6 weeks full-time at the head office in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, with fluency in French/Dutch and good English.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in International Trade, Purchasing, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Internship at Besix head office (Woluwe-Saint-Lambert).
• Internship period must be at least 6 weeks full-time.
• French/Dutch with good English knowledge.
• Analytical mind, autonomy and rigor.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement & Purchasing team in day-to-day activities.
• Assist in supplier sourcing, market research, and price inquiries.
• Participate in RFQ preparation, follow-up, and evaluation.
• Contribute to supplier comparisons, bid analyses, and reports.
• Support administration and follow-up of contracts, orders and supplier databases.
• Assist with purchasing for national and international construction projects.
• Contribute to logistics coordination and international shipments when required.
