Job summary

BESIX Group in Belgium is offering an internship in the Group Communications Department for students in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fields. You will gain hands-on experience across Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Event Management, Brand Management, and Sponsorship.

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication in French or Dutch, fluent in English.
• Strong writing/editing skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with design software is a plus.
• Internship period must be at least 3 months full-time; please mention period.

During your internship, you will join the Group Communications Department and contribute to a variety of communication activities, including Internal Communications, Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Event Management, Brand Management, and Sponsorship.

Your mission:

• Support the Communications team in the preparation and execution of communication campaigns and initiatives;
• Write and edit content for internal and external communication channels;
• Assist in the organization of corporate events, meetings, and employee engagement activities;
• Contribute to the creation of presentations, communication materials, and reports;
• Support media monitoring and the preparation of press reviews and coverage reports;
• Assist in maintaining and strengthening the company’s brand image across different communication platforms;
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent and effective communication.

Qualifications

• You are pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field;
• You have excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French or Dutch and you are fluent in English;
• You have strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail;
• You are proficient in MS Office, familiarity with design software (such as Photoshop or InDesign) is a plus;
