Job summary

BESIX Group is offering an internship in Procurement and Purchasing in Brussels. The role is based at the head office and involves supporting the procurement team in day-to-day activities within our international construction projects.

You will work alongside experienced professionals, performing supplier sourcing, market research, RFQ support, and contract administration while gaining hands-on experience in logistics coordination for global shipments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a master's degree in International Trade, Purchasing, or Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Interest in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management in an international context.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement & Purchasing team in day-to-day activities.
• Assist in supplier sourcing, market research, and price inquiries.
• Participate in RFQ preparation, follow-up and evaluation.
• Contribute to supplier comparisons, bid analyses and recommendation reports.
• Support contracts, orders and supplier databases administration.
• Assist purchasing for national and international construction projects.

During your internship, you will work alongside experienced procurement professionals and contribute to the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities that support our construction projects around the world.

Your mission:

• Support the Procurement & Purchasing team in their day-to-day activities;
• Assist in supplier sourcing, market research, and price inquiries;

• You speak French/Dutch and you have a good knowledge of English;
• You have an analytical mind, autonomy and rigor;
