Gaming1 in Belgium is seeking a Frontend Engineer to design, build, and evolve high-quality web experiences that solve real customer problems and drive business outcomes. You will work in small autonomous product teams, collaborating with PMs and designers, owning features end-to-end, and delivering meaningful outcomes with a product-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable, maintainable and high-performance web applications.
• Solid knowledge of Redux Toolkit, RTK Query and asynchronous data flows.
• Strong engineering practices: testing, code quality, CI/CD and code reviews.
• Product-oriented mindset focused on customer and business value.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional product teams.
• High ownership, autonomy and problem-solving ability.
• Continuous learning and interest in AI-assisted development.
• Nice-to-have: React Native, micro-frontends and frontend security knowledge.

A Frontend Engineer at Gaming1 maximizes customer and business value through high-quality, user-centric product experiences.

Engineers operate within small, autonomous product engineering teams in a high-traffic, regulated environment, where decisions directly impact customer trust, conversion, time-to-market and long-term engagement.

While frontend engineering is the primary expertise, Gaming1 teams are intentionally small and product-oriented. As a result, Engineers are expected to be wide in their skillset, flexible in scope, and comfortable collaborating across disciplines. Frontend work is not always a neatly isolated responsibility — success comes from team ownership and shared accountability, not role silos.

This role is part of a broader Product Engineering culture focused on autonomy, short feedback loops, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

YOUR ROLE

As a Frontend Engineer, your mission is to design, build, and evolve solutions that solve real customer problems and support business outcomes.

You do this by:
