Gaming1, a leader in land-based and online gaming, seeks an Experienced GL Accountant with an Automation First mindset to join its finance team. You will manage monthly closings, analyze financials, and collaborate with external auditors in a dynamic environment.

The role emphasizes automation, AI tools, and process improvements across Procure-to-Pay and ERP systems, with French and English communication required. Hybrid work and international exposure await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or master's degree in a financial field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a large company.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and BEGAAP standards.
• Good knowledge of Belgian fiscal environment (VAT, corporate tax).
• Good knowledge of ERP (D365 is an asset) and Excel (complex formulas).
• Understanding of automation and process digitalization, and a strong interest in – or experience with – AI tools applied to finance.
• Excellent knowledge of French and ability to communicate in English.
• Good deadline management and organizational ability.
• Good communicator.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly and annual closings in order to provide management with relevant financial information.
• Analyze and monitor balance sheets and P&Ls.
• Prepare audit files and collaborate with external auditors.
• Manage the Procure-to-Pay flow, including payment workflow.
• Play a hands-on, key role in the optimization of our ERP and related finance applications.
• Challenge existing processes and design them with an “Automation First” mindset to reduce manual work.
• Leverage AI tools for repetitive tasks – reconciliations, matching, reporting – when automation reaches its limits, while keeping a critical review of the outputs.
• Assist the tax team with fiscal matters: VAT, corporate tax, etc.

YOUR ROLE

Managing the accounting for a portfolio of companies:

• Prepare monthly and annual closings in order to provide management with relevant financial information
