Job summary

Eurostar International in Brussels or London is seeking a Fleet Performance Manager to monitor and improve the technical performance of the four Eurostar fleets. You will analyse failures, anticipate trends and lead the performance action plan with Engineering, Operations and partners such as Siemens to boost reliability and availability.

You will produce detailed weekly, monthly and annual reports, manage the performance reporting tool and work cross-functionally with Rolling Stock and

Qualifications

• Very strong technical knowledge of rolling stock, high-speed trains and maintenance practices.
• Fluent French and English; Dutch a bonus.
• Excellent analytical and summarising skills to ensure quality of deliverables.
• Proficiency with office software and data tools (Excel) for KPI presentation.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Rolling Stock and Operations teams.
• Solid management experience.

Responsibilities

• Increase the performance of the four Eurostar fleets in terms of reliability and availability.
• Produce detailed and summary reports (weekly, monthly and annual) on technical performance.
• Carry out first-level technical analysis (D+1 / D+7) to identify trends and anticipate failures.
• Manage the single performance reporting tool.
• Define and lead the Rolling Stock department's Performance action plan for each fleet.
• Surface priority issues with Engineering and other departments; introduce FRACAS methodologies.
• Manage all agreed actions through to implementation and measure effectiveness.
• Contribute to a positive safety culture and uphold safety responsibilities.
• Be the entry point for the Operations department; participate in incident analysis and provide inputs for joint analyses with infrastructure managers.
• Contribute to defining operating needs and help implement them; allocate allowable failures under the contract with Siemens.
• Represent Eurostar at monthly performance meetings with Siemens.
