Job summary

Wygwam, a division of Niko NV, seeks a Field Service – On-site Technical Support professional to visit client sites, analyze complex technical situations, troubleshoot installations, and assist installers with proper implementation of our solutions to ensure optimal operation.

You will build expertise in Home Automation, Video Intercoms, Energy Management, or HVAC integrations, document solutions for the Knowledge Base, and train colleagues to handle advanced queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, IT, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical support or field service.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical installations.
• Strong affinity with Home Automation, Video Intercoms, Energy Management, or HVAC.
• Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
• Basic networking knowledge and AREI regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site technical interventions for installers and clients.
• Analyze complex technical situations and troubleshoot malfunctions or configuration issues in existing installations.
• Support installers with implementation, configuration, and optimization of our systems.
• Provide proactive technical service and feed client insights back to prevent issues.
• Document solutions and insights for the internal Knowledge Base.
• Share expertise by training colleagues and supporting them with complex queries.
• Assist the Customer Service teams with complex technical cases.
• Work with remote tools, data analysis, and system diagnostics.
• Maintain regular contact with Product Management and R&D to feedback field insights.
