AMETEK LMS Field Service Technician provides service and customer support at customer locations on the full line of LMS products. Responsibilities include installation, startup, configuration, testing, preventive or corrective repairs, and on-site training.

The role requires 5–10 years of field service experience in instrumentation, a technical diploma or degree, strong communication, and safety training readiness including HUET. Travel regionally and offshore as needed.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical diploma in instrumentation, electronics, related field, or equivalent military training.
• High School diploma required.
• 5-10 years of experience providing technical support and/or field service in instrumentation preferred.
• Technical aptitude and electro-mechanical skill set.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Salesforce knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to customer sites regionally and offshore within designated region(s).
• Provide customers with world class support; commission, configure and evaluate installations.
• Train peers and customers in field service procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, product management and QA to resolve issues.
• Prepare training content and maintain product knowledge as the subject matter expert.
• Escalate quality issues to appropriate departments and support continuous product improvement.
