Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide service and customer support at customer locations across the AMETEK LMS product line.

You will perform commissioning, startup, configuration, troubleshooting, preventive or corrective repair, and training on the LMS products. Travel to job sites, including offshore interventions, and work with sales, product management, engineering, and service teams to resolve issues and communicate results.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in instrumentation or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in technical support and/or field service in instrumentation (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites on land and offshore within the designated region(s).
• Provide customers with world class support at location of installed product; commission, configure and evaluate installations.
• Train peers on field service procedures and processes.
