Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Brussels is looking for a Facilities Manager to oversee building operations, stakeholder relations, and supplier performance across multiple sites. You will ensure safety, compliance, and service quality while driving efficiency and cost control.

Candidates should have 5+ years in facilities management, experience leading teams, and a good grasp of health and safety standards. Fluency in English and French and/or Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities management, building operations, or property management.
• 5+ years leading teams, managing suppliers, and overseeing multiple locations.
• Good understanding of health and safety, compliance, and building systems.
• Commercial awareness, including budgets and contract management.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to challenge the status quo.
• Knowledge of critical environments and specialist building systems is an advantage.
• Languages: strong or fluent English and French and/or Dutch are required.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships: Be a key point of contact for the client, stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Drive improvement: Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and value for money.
• Keep people safe: Ensure health, safety, risk management, and business continuity requirements are met.
• Keep things running: Oversee building operations, maintenance, service requests, and compliance across multiple sites.
• Lead and inspire: Manage, coach, and develop your team, creating a positive, high-performing environment.
• Manage the commercials: Oversee contracts, supplier performance, budgets, and cost control.
• Be ready to respond: Participate in a 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance rota.
