This internship project focuses on the development, fabrication, and characterization of carbon nanotube liquid-gated field-effect transistors (CNT LGFETs) for next-generation sensing applications. The student will contribute to improving the reproducibility and robustness of key fabrication steps, including CNT device lab fabtication, device handling, and sample preparation. One major part of the project will be the study and development of new passivation methods to ensure the robustness of ACNT bioFET operation. The fabricated devices will be characterized in both dry and liquid-gated configurations to assess transistor performance, process yield, device-to-device variation, measurement repeatability, and operational reliability. The project aims to establish a reproducible fabrication and passivation workflow that enables stable liquid-gate characterization and contributes to the ongoing development of CNT bioFET applications.
