Internship allowance

Job summary

Imec invites Master students in Electrotechnics or Electrical Engineering to participate in device characterization projects, focusing on new Ge NS FET devices. You will perform electrical testing, analyze data, and report to the team to guide device performance assessments and identify possible failure modes.

The internship is 3 or 6 months, depending on university options, with Imec providing an allowance for non-Belgian students.

Qualifications

• Master student in electrotechnics or electrical engineering with interest in semiconductor devices.
• Hands-on experience in electrical testing and semiconductor device characterization is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with ability to report findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Test, characterize, and report on advanced transistor devices (Ge NS FET).
• Analyze test data and present results to the technical team to evaluate performance and failure mechanisms.
• Contribute to evolving topics based on learning curve and project needs.

The selected student will perform electrical testing and characterization of new Ge NS FET devices, analyse the results, and present the findings to the technical team to assess device performance and identify potential failure mechanisms. The topic will also evolve based on learning curve of the student.
