In this role, you’ll provide personalized advice to business owners on the sale value of their companies and guide them through complex transfers and mergers. In addition, you’ll maintain strong relationships with professional advisors and contribute to their professional development. Responsibilities

• You provide personalized advice to clients and their stakeholders (such as accountants and family members) with a focus on optimizing the sale value of their business.
• You perform indicative valuations of various companies.
• You guide entrepreneurs and professionals through the process of (family) business transfers and mergers and acquisitions.
• When necessary, you engage the most suitable external specialist or intermediary.
• You provide tailored advice and explain the various options to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
• You develop customized solutions and explore all possibilities, taking into account the financial, tax, legal, and family implications.
• You maintain strong relationships with account managers in your region and provide them with on-site support to improve their skills in the areas of business transfer and succession planning.
• You contribute to expanding the network of professional advisors and intermediaries who offer valuable knowledge and information and to whom clients can be referred.
• You organize your work independently and closely monitor developments in your field.
• You deliver presentations to prospects, clients, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Holds a master’s degree.
• Has at least 10 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Is passionate about mergers and acquisitions, as well as (family) succession issues.
• Has excellent communication skills and commercial acumen.
• Is proactive and enjoys taking the initiative. A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to translate complex matters into clear, tailored advice for the client are essential.
• Is a team player but can also work effectively independently.
• Is a native Dutch speaker and has a good passive knowledge of French.
• Is willing to be available occasionally in the evenings for client meetings, presentations, or networking events.
