Deloitte Belgium is seeking an (Senior) Consultant in our Transaction Services group to support clients with financial advice during M&A or transformation projects, including due diligence, valuations, modeling and SPA advice. You’ll work with a team of experienced professionals on a wide range of client engagements.

The role requires a Master’s degree with finance/economy background and 2–5 years of related experience; multilingual ability (Dutch, French, English) and strong

Qualifications

• Master's degree with a post-graduate education in finance or economy.
• 2 to 5 years of audit experience and/or other M&A related experience.
• Experience in financial due diligence and valuations is a strong asset.
• Team player with very good communication, analytical and report writing skills.
• Ideal candidate speaks Dutch, French and English; good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

As (Senior) Consultant in our Transaction Services group you support clients with financial advice during M&A or transformation projects, including financial (vendor) due diligence assignments, valuations, business modeling, SPA advice and negotiations, M&A strategy as well as other corporate finance matters. You work closely with a team of experienced M&A and Strategy professionals and have exposure to a wide range of clients. In addition to the above, you have an important role to play in our sector approach and business development opportunities. Our Strategy & Transactions offering portfolio combines the following teams: Strategy & Business Design, Infrastructure & Real Estate, Sustainability and M&A Valuation & Business Modelling.

Let’s talk about you

You hold a Master's degree with a post-graduate education in finance or economy. You have 2 to 5 years of audit experience and/or other M&A related experience. Initial experience in financial due diligence and valuations is a strong asset.

You are a team player with very good communication, analytical and report writing skills. Our ideal candidate speaks Dutch, French and English and has a good knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
