The International Council of the Belgian Notariat (CINB-IRBN) is recruiting a Legal Advisor - Regulatory Affairs to monitor European and international legislation affecting the Belgian notariat and translate developments into practical positions.

The role covers European corporate law, AML, family law, internal market and digital regulation, and requires fluency in French or Dutch with excellent English. You will work in a small, international team in Brussels with up to 60% remote work.

Formación

• Master's degree in law required with European law exposure an asset.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills applicable to regulatory affairs.
• Experience in European/international legal matters and notarial/regulatory environments is preferred.
• Fluency in French or Dutch and excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyse European and international legislative and regulatory developments affecting the Belgian notariat.
• Conduct legal research and comparative-law analysis; assess impact on Belgian notaries.
• Contribute to legal and strategic positions; advise on approaches to be taken.
• Interact with notarial federations and institutions in Belgium and other European countries.
• Prepare and participate in meetings with European institutions and other stakeholders.
• Support representation of Belgian notariat interests at European and international levels.
• Participate in seminars and events; communicate progress internally and externally.
