World Food Programme, based in Brussels, seeks a Partnerships and Compliance Officer (P3) to enable the conclusion of EU contribution agreements and ensure complex contractual compliance. The role reports to the Deputy Director and requires close collaboration with EU institutions and WFP offices worldwide.

Advanced degree in Law or related field, 5+ years in partnership roles, and fluency in English and French are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in Law, International Relations or related field.
• Minimum five years in partnership roles; at least four dealing with EU institutions and contracts.
• Fluency in English and French; knowledge of an additional UN language is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist advice to strengthen relations with EU institutions and fundraising opportunities.
• Negotiate EU contributions agreements and ensure FAFA compliance.
• Guide negotiations, management and reporting of EU contributions with FAFA and EC frameworks.
• Coordinate with EU representatives and participate in donor meetings organized by EU bodies.
• Prepare briefing materials for senior management meetings and engagements with EU institutions.
• Develop recommendations to increase EU funding and provide training on EU compliance and contractual issues.
