Job summary

World Food Programme in Brussels seeks a Partnerships and Compliance Officer (P3) to enable satisfactory EU contributions and ensure compliance with the FAFA. You will coordinate with EU delegations, provide guidance on contracts, and support negotiations to maximise funding opportunities.

The role requires an advanced degree, strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and fluency in English and French. You’ll work with HQ, regional and country offices in a diverse, inclusive environment and

Qualifications

Minimum five years in partnership roles with EU institutions.
Strong knowledge of EU development policies and procedures.
Proven experience in fundraising, negotiations and public relations/advocacy.
Experience managing teams of experts across a variety of job functions.

Responsibilities

Provide specialist advice to strengthen relations with EU institutions.
Support negotiations for contributions agreements centrally managed by EC services.
Guide negotiation and reporting of contributions agreements to ensure compliance.
Coordinate with EU representatives and participate in donor meetings organized by EU institutions.
