World Food Programme (WFP) in Brussels seeks a Partnerships and Compliance Officer to secure and manage EU contribution agreements, ensuring alignment with FAFA and internal policies. The role involves negotiating with EU institutions, guiding regional offices, and enhancing fundraising opportunities.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience with EU procedures, strong legal acumen, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-office activities while representing WFP in donor meetings

Formación

• Requires at least five years in partnership roles with EU institutions, policies, oversight and legal frameworks.
• Experience negotiating and managing EU contracts and financial verifications is essential.
• Strong knowledge of EU development policies, regulations and administrative procedures (DG INTPA, DG MENA, FPI).

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert advice and support to WFP offices to strengthen EU relationships and funding opportunities.
• Participate in negotiations for contribution agreements and ensure alignment with FAFA and internal policies.
• Guide offices on negotiation, management and reporting of EU contributions and FAFA-related agreements.
• Represent WFP in donor meetings and prepare briefing materials for senior management.
• Develop strategies to increase EU funding and provide technical guidance on EU legal matters and compliance.
