Job summary

Global Roles seeks a Partnerships and Compliance Officer to support WFP offices in mobilizing EU funding and ensuring compliance with EU contractual requirements. You will negotiate, manage, and report on EU contribution agreements, provide guidance on EU law, and foster partnerships with EU institutions.

The role involves coordinating with Brussels and HQ teams, preparing briefing materials, and representing WFP in donor meetings.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree or equivalent professional experience in law, public policy, or European studies.
• Proven experience with EU institutions, policies, and donor funding.
• Experience training staff and developing donor policy materials.

Responsibilities

• Advise HQ and field offices to strengthen EU relations and fundraising with DG INTPA, DG MENA, and FPI.
• Negotiate and manage EU contribution agreements and ensure FAFA compliance.
• Prepare briefing materials and participate in EU donor meetings on behalf of WFP.
