Job summary

World Food Programme in Brussels is seeking a Partnerships and Compliance Officer (P3) to enable the conclusion of EU contribution agreements and ensure compliance with complex contractual conditions. You will work across EU institutions, provide guidance to offices, and represent WFP in donor meetings.

Fluency in English and French is mandatory, with knowledge of an additional UN language advantageous. Advanced degree in law or related field and 5+ years in partnership roles are expected.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, European Studies or International Development, or equivalent experience.
• Five+ years of relevant work experience in partnership roles, with EU institutions preferred.
• Fluency in English and French mandatory; knowledge of another UN language advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Enable conclusion of EU contribution agreements and ensure compliance with FAFA and internal rules.
• Support negotiations for EU contributions and related EC services agreements.
• Provide guidance to offices for negotiation, management and reporting of EU contributions.
• Represent WFP in donor meetings with EU institutions and prepare management briefing materials.
• Develop training materials on EU contractual requirements and compliance.
