The World Food Programme seeks a senior professional to lead the Brussels Office and drive partnerships with EU authorities and European Member States. You will guide strategy, engagement, and resource mobilization across a complex network while promoting WFP’s mission in Europe.

Fluency in English is essential, with a strong track record in diplomacy, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration to advance Zero Hunger initiatives.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree or equivalent.
• Fifteen+ years of senior experience in partnerships, fundraising and advocacy.
• Experience leading strategic partnerships with EU authorities and member states.
• Strong networking with EU institutions and European Commission.
• Fluent English; working knowledge of a second UN language.

Responsabilités

• Represent WFP vis-à-vis EU authorities, Parliament and member states as applicable in Brussels.
• Formulate and implement WFP partnership engagement strategy.
• Identify and build relationships with decision makers to secure resources and knowledge transfer.
• Promote WFP initiatives and align partnerships with UN strategies and processes.
• Disseminate analyses and innovations to inform policy dialogue and fundraising.
• Lead and coach a multicultural team across the Brussels Office.
