HumanInTech in Hasselt is seeking an experienced Test Specialist to lead test automation and quality assurance across complex enterprise projects. You will design strategies and hands‑on test plans, coaching testers and coordinating with business and development teams.

The role involves strong collaboration, a risk‑based testing approach, and weekly travel to multiple locations in Belgium. Dutch proficiency is mandatory, and the assignment starts in November 2026 for one year with possible

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software testing in enterprise environments.
• 8+ years as a test specialist.
• Experience with test automation and frameworks.
• Experience with programmable automation (TypeScript, WebDriver.IO, Node.js, Cucumber).
• 5+ years of integration, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Experience in test strategies and plans.
• Fluent in Dutch (CEFR C2).
• Working language is Dutch.

• Designing and maintaining test automation frameworks using programmable tools
• Developing test strategies, test plans and test approaches for complex application landscapes
• Analysing business requirements and translating them into test scenarios and test cases
• Executing and coordinating integration, regression and end‑to‑end testing
• Applying formal test methods and techniques
• Managing stakeholders across business, development and testing
• Supporting and coaching testers with hands‑on guidance
