Engibex, an engineering and R&D consultancy based in Belgium, is seeking a Business Developer to drive commercial growth by identifying opportunities and linking client needs to engineering expertise.

You will prospect, build lasting relationships, translate client needs into staffing opportunities, negotiate terms, and collaborate with recruitment to place consultants. A dynamic team and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years in a commercial or business development role.
• Experience in prospection/lead generation.
• Engineering sector experience is a strong plus.
• Fluent in English and in French and/or Dutch.
• Results-driven, persistent, and comfortable with rejection.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Autonomous, proactive, and eager to learn.

Responsabilités

• Prospect and identify new potential clients (cold calling, emailing, networking, events).
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with your client portfolio.
• Understand clients' technical needs and translate them into concrete staffing opportunities.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
• Work closely with the recruitment team to match the right consultants with the right projects.
• Monitor your market, competitors, and industry trends.
• Track and report on your commercial activity and results.
