Job summary

Companion.energy helps large energy users cut energy costs and carbon emissions by steering energy use in sync with market prices and renewable generation. The Solutions Engineer will work closely with customers and our product team to implement and scale the platform, bridging backend development, integration, and customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs, data pipelines or systems integration.
• Curious about AI tools and automation.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging mindset with real-world systems.
• Experience working with customer engineering teams is a plus.
• Clear, practical communicator for internal and external audiences.
• Curious and proactive attitude; asks questions and learns quickly.
• Energy market experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for new industrial customers.
• Build and deploy integrations between energy systems, assets and cloud platform.
• Collaborate with engineers on core architecture and tooling.
• Translate customer constraints into actionable setups.
• Troubleshoot edge-case issues in real-world environments.
• Help standardise and scale high-quality, repeatable integrations.
