Capco is seeking a Functional & Technical Analyst in Belgium to investigate how applications work end to end and translate complex requirements into precise design specifications. You will focus on APIs, data flows and integrations across modern and legacy systems, collaborating with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver reliable solutions.

You will document architectures, assist in testing, and coordinate with delivery teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical analysis and API integration.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs.
• Strong background in API contracts and data exchanges between applications.

Responsabilités

• Map end-to-end application flows and identify dependencies between services, databases, interfaces, and platforms.
• Analyze and specify API integrations, including contracts, request/response structures, data mapping and error handling.
• Translate functional needs into detailed technical specifications, diagrams, user stories and acceptance criteria for developers and testers.
• Collaborate with solution architects and engineers to assess options, reuse services and identify constraints and risks.
• Investigate data and system behavior using SQL, API tools, and available documentation.
• Support integration testing, prepare test data and scenarios, and help resolve defects across boundaries.
• Analyze production incidents to identify root causes and coordinate fixes with teams.
• Maintain clear documentation of architecture and interface behavior throughout delivery.
• Work with business stakeholders to validate that designs meet needs.
