Abbott Laboratories in Belgium is seeking an Emerging Markets Junior Customer Service Representative to manage orders from start to finish and support distributors across Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Israel, Ukraine, and other international markets. You will be the link between customers, sales, logistics and internal teams, ensuring accurate order processing in SAP and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Upper secondary diploma/High school diploma.
• First work experience in Customer Service or related operations.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Structured approach and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
• Fluent in English and either French, Arabic or Russian.

Emerging Markets Junior Customer Service Representative

Location: Machelen, Belgium

We are looking for an Emerging Markets Junior Customer Service Representative to join our Medical Devices team in Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from start to finish while supporting distributors across Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Israel, Ukraine, and other international markets.

As a vital link between customers, sales teams, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experience.

What you'll be doing

Your primary focus will be managing and following up on customer orders, ensuring smooth and efficient order processing throughout the entire order lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing and monitoring customer orders in SAP
• Following up on large and complex orders to ensure timely delivery
• Managing backorders and keeping customers informed
• Handling customer inquiries, complaints, returns, and credit notesCoordinating with distributors, couriers, warehouses, and internal teams
• Maintaining customer, pricing, and product master data
• Supporting inventory management and stock monitoring activities
• Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, quality requirements, and service standards
• Contributing to continuous improvements and operational excellence within Customer Service

What we're looking for

You will likely have:

• Upper secondary diploma/ High school diploma
• First work experience, ideally in Customer Service, Order Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar operational role
• Ideally, experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• A structured approach and strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
• The ability to perform well in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
• Fluency in English, and either French, Arabic or Russian, both written and spoken
