Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is seeking an embedded software engineer to deepen technical knowledge of our solutions and balance business requirements with the Daikin products. You will work with the project team to steer development partners and ensure timely delivery of embedded software and cloud/app components.

Daikin Europe NV (DENV) is a subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, a Japanese outstanding company and worldwide the biggest developer, producer and supplier of HVAC-R (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) solutions, including heating pumps and cooling technology.

DENV is Daikin’s sales, R&D, and production headquarters for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. The headquarter has Belgian offices in Brussels, Ghent and Ostend, as well as 8 production plants, 24 sales subsidiaries and offices and a whole network of independent distributors and dealers across the EMEA region.

As an embedded software engineer you will acquire deep technical knowledge of the solutions we are building and maintaining. Together with a good understanding of the business requirements and the Daikin products, you will use this knowledge to correctly steer our development partners. Together with the project team you strive for a good balance between the quality, cost and timely delivery of embedded software solutions .

The EMEA Electrics and Controls department , located at Tech Lane Ghent Science Park, is one of the fastest growing departments withing the EMEA Development Centre of Daikin.

The Department is responsible for development and improvement of controls : room controls, unit controls, App and cloud controls.
