Dow in Belgium is seeking a Market Segment Manager for Industrial & Chemical Processing EMEA to define and execute growth strategies across assigned application markets. The preferred location is Seneffe, Belgium; Milan may also be considered.

You will translate technical differentiation into compelling customer value propositions and drive profitable growth across EMEA. You will collaborate with Sales, TS&D, R&D, Product Management and channel partners to shape portfolio priorities and lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, engineering, business, marketing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in strategic marketing, market development, product management, business development, commercial leadership, or a related B2B role.
• Experience in specialty chemicals, performance materials, formulation ingredients, industrial processing, or another technically differentiated B2B industry.
• Knowledge of at least one relevant market segment, including textiles, leather, pulp and paper, coatings or specialty chemical processing.

• Lead cross‑functional market management activities to define and execute growth strategies across Industrial & Chemical Processing markets in EMEA.
• Develop market strategies, growth roadmaps, and commercial priorities based on customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and business objectives.
• Conduct market, customer and value‑chain analyses to identify growth opportunities, priority applications, and unmet market needs.
• Translate market insights into differentiated value propositions, portfolio priorities, pricing recommendations and customer segmentation.
• Partner with Sales, TS&D, R&D, and Product Management to prioritize and commercialize new products, technologies, and application opportunities.
• Build strategic relationships with customers, formulators, distributors, channel partners and industry stakeholders to strengthen market intimacy and uncover emerging opportunities.
