Daikin Europe NV in Oostende, Belgium, seeks a Field Service Safety Governance Officer to strengthen the safety governance across its European service network. You will implement the Field Service Safety Management System, support affiliates, and drive continuous safety improvements while partnering with local safety reps and leadership.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor or master in OHS/Engineering, have practical safety audits and incident investigation experience, and are fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Industrial Sciences, Environmental Management, or related field.
• Proven experience in occupational health and safety, ideally in field service, technical service, industrial, HVAC-R or construction environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and safety management systems.
• Belgian applicants: Prevention Advisor Level 2 minimum.
• Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, risk assessments and compliance management.

Responsabilités

• Defining and maintaining the Field Service Safety Governance framework across EMEA.
• Monitor affiliate compliance, audits, and corrective actions; report progress to management.
• Manage safety performance indicators, dashboards, incident reporting, and trend analysis.
• Coordinate incident investigations and share lessons learned across the organization.
• Support risk assessments and preventive/corrective actions by affiliates.
• Develop and maintain safety training programs and competency frameworks.
• Support EMS implementation and continuous improvement of safety management systems.
• Manage governance documentation, SharePoint, standards and procedures.
• Oversee subcontractor safety management to ensure Daikin standards are met.
• Act as central point of contact for field service safety governance across EMEA.
