Job summary

Leggett Dynamics is seeking a Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) to ensure reliability and safety of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. You will keep production running smoothly, minimize downtime, and drive improvements across operations.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and deploying new equipment from development to installation, with a path from day shift training to a permanent night shift.

Qualifications

• Completed technical training in Electrician/Mechatronics or similar qualification.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in a technical role in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and maintenance best practices.
• Familiarity with LEAN manufacturing (TPM, SMED) and continuous improvement.
• Proactive, team-oriented mindset with focus on safety and quality.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Conversational Dutch and French skills.
• Day shift during training (6-12 months) with transition to permanent night shift after training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum equipment uptime through expert troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing and facility systems.
• Deliver preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify reliability improvements to reduce downtime and boost performance.
• Support deployment of new manufacturing equipment from development to commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment efficiency and safety.
• Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory and EHS requirements for equipment and facilities.
• Provide cross-functional backup support and deputy coverage as needed.

As aMaintenance Technician (m/f/d) you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of our manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by keeping our production running smoothly, minimizing downtime, and driving continuous improvements across our manufacturing operations. The team you will be working with is a cross‑functional team of maintenance technicians, engineers, and production professionals dedicated to operational excellence.

Additionally, you'll:

• Ensure maximum equipment uptime through expert troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing and facility systems
• Deliver proactive maintenance solutions by executing and continuously improving preventive maintenance programs
• Identify and implement reliability improvements that reduce downtime and increase operational performance
• Support the successful deployment of new manufacturing equipment from development through installation and commissioning
• Drive continuous improvement projects that enhance equipment efficiency, safety, and productivity
• Maintain full compliance with legal, regulatory, and EHS requirements for all equipment and facility modifications
• Contribute to business resilience by providing cross‑functional backup support and deputy coverage when required

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Completed technical training as anElectrician, Mechanical Technician, Mechatronics Technician,or a comparable technical qualification
• Approximately 2-3 years of professional experience within your technical discipline, preferably ina manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and maintenance best practices
• Familiarity withLEAN manufacturing methodologies, such as TPM, SMED, or similar continuous improvement approaches
• A proactive, team‑oriented mindset and a strong commitment to safety and quality
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Conversational Dutch and French language skills
• Day shift during training period (typically 6‑12 months)
• Transition to a permanent night shift role upon completion of training
