Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Functional Analyst for a long-term freelance assignment in Temse, Belgium. The role involves supporting the current AX environment and aiding the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations over the next two years.

Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Functional Analyst - Freelance

Our client, an international organisation located in the region west of Antwerp, is looking for a Dynamics AX 2012 Technical Functional Analyst to support and further develop their ERP environment.

The organisation currently operates on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 and has a planned transition towards Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations within the next two years.

They need a profile to work on the old AX system, whilst aiding the transition over to F&O in due course.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for Dynamics AX 2012 within the organisation
• Gather, analyse and challenge business requirements from key stakeholders
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
• Support and optimize existing AX processes across multiple business domains
• Coordinate and validate developments carried out internally or by external partners
• Perform impact analyses and assess proposed system changes
• Support incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Coordinate testing activities and support business users during UAT

Profile

• 5+ years working on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 in a technical-functional capacity (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of ERP processes within finance, supply chain, logistics, production or procurement
