Qualifications

• 7+ years as Functional Analyst in finance or public sector
• Experience in data modeling for financial flows and SEPA payments
• Experience with ERP systems, data migrations and integrations
• Proficiency in data processing and query development
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Experience using AI tools for analysis and documentation
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving approach
• Fluent Dutch and French with professional English level

This role involves translating complex financial and business needs into technical specifications while managing data migrations and platform integrations for a core management system.

• Elaborate business rules, data mapping, and interface/API specifications for core administrative systems.
• Translate complex financial processes such as accounting, SEPA payments, and settlements into clear functional requirements and user stories.
• Map as-is and to-be business processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for workflow optimization.
• Coordinate with developers, product owners, and external suppliers to align on functionality and priorities.
• Perform functional testing and verify data migrations to ensure the accuracy of financial calculations and system consistency.
• Maintain comprehensive functional documentation and support key user training through release notes and demonstrations.

• You have 7+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst in complex or regulated sectors like finance or the public sector.
• You possess expertise in data modeling and process analysis focused on financial flows and SEPA payments.
• You bring experience with ERP systems, data migrations, and functional integrations.
• You have proficiency in data processing, database structures, and query development.
• You bring hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or comparable ticketing and test management platforms.
• You possess experience using AI tools for analysis and documentation with the ability to critically evaluate outputs.
• You have experience performing functional testing and data validation.
• You're analytical and detail-oriented with a structured approach to solving complex problems.
• You bring a diplomatic and solution-oriented mindset to multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• You are fluent in Dutch and French with a professional level of English.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Power BI, Excel analysis, and SharePoint.
