Job summary

IMEC, the world-renowned research center in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a Director of 2.5D and 3D Advanced Packaging Technologies. You will drive development from research to platform deployment, align needs across business lines, and shape a coherent technology roadmap.

This leadership role combines strategic vision, deep technical expertise in advanced packaging, and strong people leadership to deliver milestones and create new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in semiconductor R&D with expertise in advanced packaging, 2.5D/3D technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of 2.5D and 3D packaging technologies from research to deployment.
• Align needs of multiple business lines into a coherent technology roadmap.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute roadmap milestones.
• Represent the organization’s 2.5D/3D expertise in internal and external discussions.
• Identify gaps and drive projects bridging strategic technology gaps.
