Imec in Leuven, Belgium, seeks a Team Leader for the Deposition group within the Engineering department. You will coach a team of engineers and technicians and oversee the maintenance and development of deposition processes in 200mm and 300mm cleanrooms.

You will ensure safety, drive improvements, manage shifts and budgets, and collaborate with tool suppliers to support imec's long-term thin film strategy in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Master in Science or Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• Strong leadership mindset and people management skills.
• Experience in deposition techniques (ALD, CVD, EPI or PVD) in semiconductor production preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily management of a team of ca. 10 engineers and technicians.
• Maintain and repair deposition tools in 200mm and 300mm cleanrooms; develop and manage processes.
• Drive cycle-time and quality improvements; meet the team KPIs.
• Manage the team budget and ensure safety and training for all reports.
• Collaborate with tool suppliers to ensure robust processes and long-term capability.
