imec in Leuven, Belgium, invites an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the PVDPE team within the FAB Engineering Department. You will guide 9 engineers, drive safety, performance, and continuous improvement, and collaborate across functions in a dynamic, international environment.
The role emphasizes people development, strategic direction, and strong stakeholder management to support imec’s 300mm cleanroom expansion and global partnerships.
You will lead the PVDPE (Physical Vapour Deposition Process Engineering) team that currently consists of 9 Process Engineers. This team is part of the FAB Engineering Department, and you will report to the DD (Deposition and Diffusion) group manager. It is expected that the PVD team will continue to grow significantly in the coming years to support the ongoing expansion of imec’s state-of-the-art 300mm cleanroom. As Engineering Manager, you will lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers to deliver exceptional operational performance. You will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations, building a highly skilled and engaged team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and representing the PVDPE organization in cross-functional collaborations. Through effective resource planning, talent development, and stakeholder management, you will help shape the long-term success of the team and its contribution to the fab's objectives.
