IMEC in Leuven, Belgium, is seeking a Wet Etch and Clean R&D Engineer to advance isotropic etching and cleaning from LAB to FAB. You will design robust experiments, implement process control methods, and drive continuous improvement in wet processing hardware and tooling.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a relevant field with strong experimental skills.
• Experience in semiconductor wet cleaning processing and hardware is a plus.
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Drive wet etch process development from LAB to FAB by designing robust experiments and implementing control methods.
• Identify wet etch and clean integration challenges and collaborate cross-functionally to develop solutions.
• Develop sustainable processes and evaluate environmental impact with the sustainability team.
• Report findings to internal/external partners, write technical notes, and file patents where applicable.
• Engage in joint development programs with external partners and share results regularly.
• Work in a dynamic multidisciplinary and multicultural environment with imec researchers, hardware engineers, and device/process experts.
