Visser & Van Baars is seeking a Data Analyst for their Brussels office within the insurance sector. You will combine data from multiple sources to deliver clear, actionable insights that support strategic decisions and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include building dashboards and reports, profiling data quality, and collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to translate questions into data-driven answers. Fluency in English and Dutch or French is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Analysis, BI, Reporting or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Knowledge of Python or R is a strong plus.
• Good understanding of data modelling and data warehousing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, structured and comfortable working independently.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Professional level of English and fluent in either Dutch or French.

For a growing organisation within the insurance and financial services sector, we are looking for a Data Analyst to strengthen their data team.

In this role, you'll work with data from different sources and turn it into clear, actionable insights that support both strategic decisions and day-to-day business operations. You'll combine hands-on data analysis with reporting, visualisation and close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
