Pauwels Consulting is seeking a Data Automation Expert to modernize and centralize reporting for an insurance sector client. The role focuses on transforming manual reports from PowerPoint and Excel into automated, dashboard-driven insights with real-time data refresh.

You will map data flows, integrate disparate sources, build dynamic dashboards in Power BI, and train business users to maintain and share insights effectively. Fluent in English, Dutch, and French is preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in BI reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, Dutch and French.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and map existing data flows and report construction methods across the organization.
• Integrate data from disparate dashboards and internal tools into a consolidated reporting system.
• Translate legacy PowerPoint and Excel reports into dynamic and flexible visual dashboards.
• Develop and implement automated data extraction and refresh cycles for real-time accuracy.
• Provide training and coaching to business experts to enable dashboard maintenance autonomy.
• Establish and promote best practices regarding data structure and usability.
• Communicate project progress and technical insights to senior management.

The role focuses on transitioning manual reporting processes from various sources into a unified, automated dashboard environment to enhance data control and sharing efficiency.

• Analyze and map existing data flows and report construction methods across the organization.
• Integrate data from disparate dashboards and internal tools into a consolidated reporting system.

• You possess 5+ years of experience in BI reporting.
• You have 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Power BI.
• You bring 2+ years of experience with MS Office applications.
• You are accurate, possess strong analytical skills, and are a collaborative team player with excellent presentation abilities.
• You are fluent in English, Dutch, and French.

Nice to Haves

• 2+ years of experience with Power Automate.
• Functional knowledge of project management methodologies.
• Experience within the insurance or financial services sectors.
