Univar Solutions is hiring a Customer Service Officer for our Belgian organisation in Anderlecht. You will manage the Order to Cash flow, working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Transport, Production and Quality to serve external customers.

Key tasks include entering orders in SAP, tracking availability, informing customers of delivery dates, handling complaints, and providing essential documentation. Fluency in Dutch and French is expected, with English as a plus.

Qualifications

• Dutch and French are required; English is an advantage.
• Experience in order taking and first-line customer support is an advantage.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Enter customer orders accurately into the ERP system (SAP).
• Track orders and check quantities and availability with internal teams.
• Inform customers of best delivery dates and potential delays.
• Monitor lists of pending orders and follow up as needed.
• Enter customer complaints and provide tailored solutions.
• Provide necessary documentation (SDS, technical sheets, certificates) or locate them in our platform.
• Create new customer accounts per internal procedures.
• Stand in for colleagues during absence and manage contracts.

In this highly interactive role, you will work closely with our external customers, as well as with various internal departments such as Sales, Supply Chain, Transport, Production, Quality, etc.

You will be responsible for the ‘Order to Cash’ process and will be part of an enthusiastic and dynamic team.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• Enter customer orders accurately and precisely into our ERP system (SAP)
• Track orders and check quantities and availability in collaboration with the Supply Chain, Production, Warehouse and Transport departments
• Inform customers of the best delivery dates and any potential delays
• Monitor lists of pending orders
• Enter customer complaints into the system and find solutions tailored to their needs
• Provide customers with the necessary documentation, such as safety data sheets, technical data sheets and analysis certificates, or help them locate these documents on our digital platform
• Create new customer accounts in accordance with internal procedures
• Stand in for your colleague in their absence
• Enter and monitor customer contracts
• Manage customer data associated with customer profiles in SAP
• Correct incorrect invoices (debit and credit notes)

This role is ideal for you if you have the following qualities:

• A good command of Dutch and French ; fluency in English is an advantage.
• Dynamic and open-minded
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Experience in order taking and first-line customer support is an advantage
