Maersk is looking for a customer experience professional to join our Antwerp team. The role focuses on building strong relationships with customers, understanding their business needs, and guiding the end-to-end shipment process across road, rail, and sea.

You will monitor cargo flow, respond to requests via email, phone or chat, and propose innovative solutions to improve each customer's supply chain. Fluency in English is required, Dutch is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires fluency in English and an interest in shipping/logistics.
• 2+ years of experience in shipping and logistics or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships.

Responsabilités

• Act as the voice and the primary contact for customers and build strong relationships with them, understand their business, service needs and drivers to continuously improve cooperation
• Take full ownership of the customer experience by managing the end-to-end shipment process, remaining current on changes in local & foreign rules, internal & external procedures and product developments and by maintain a solid understanding of the cargo you are transporting via road, rail or sea.
• Proactively monitor all outgoing and incoming cargo for your customers, advising them on our e-solutions and service offers, answering customer requests via email, telephone or chat
• Finding out-of-the-box solutions that improve the supply chain of your customers.

We are looking for

Who we are looking for someone:

• with min. 2 years background within the shipping and logistics industry
• with a passion for customer service and who like to work in a team
• who is emphatic and an excellent communicator
• with an interest in digitization and shaping the digital future of customer experience
• who is fluent in English and preferably Dutch
