Abbott Laboratories, within the Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Benelux organization, seeks a Business Excellence Manager to lead BI, sales planning, and continuous improvement across the Benelux region. You will partner with Country Affiliate Management to leverage data insights and strengthen commercial performance.

The role requires 5–7 years in MedTech/Pharma with strong forecasting, BI, and pricing analysis skills, and fluency in English plus Dutch or French. An asset is PRINCE2 certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (Business/Finance/Strategic Supply Chain).
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in MedTech, Pharma or a similar industry.
• Strong analytical capabilities with forecasting experience.
• Experience with key business processes including pricing analysis and sales performance reviews.
• Proficiency in BI and financial analysis; excellent Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead Business Excellence operations and Sales Planning across the Benelux, driving data-driven decision support.
• Drive BI processes: data gathering, analysis, forecasting, monitoring, and performance reviews.
• Translate commercial trends into actionable models and plans addressing sales performance and market needs.
• Identify opportunities and risks; develop commercial models for Latest Best Estimate and Integrated Business Planning.
• Collaborate with Sales Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate insights into action plans.
• Create and evaluate business cases for initiatives, including ROI tracking and impact analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including new business models and product launches.
• Share best practices across Benelux, EMEAP, and other regions to drive standardization and excellence.

We are looking for a Business Excellence Manager to join our Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Benelux organization.

In this strategic role, you will lead Business Excellence operations and Sales Planning processes across the Benelux. As a key partner to Country Affiliate Management, you will leverage data-driven insights to support decision-making, strengthen commercial performance and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Business Excellence operations and Sales Planning processes across the Benelux, supporting management decision-making through robust, data-driven insights.
• Drive business intelligence processes, including data gathering, analysis, forecasting, monitoring and business performance reviews.
• Translate commercial developments and business trends into actionable models and plans, considering sales performance, competitive intelligence, market access, supply chain developments and customer needs.
• Identify business opportunities and vulnerabilities and develop commercial models supporting Latest Best Estimate and Integrated Business Planning cycles.
• Partner with Sales Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to review performance, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into commercial action plans.
• Lead the creation and evaluation of business cases for commercial initiatives, including ROI assessment, outcome tracking and business analysis.
• Drive Business Excellence and continuous improvement initiatives, including product launches, new business models and operational excellence programs.
• Collaborate across Benelux, EMEAP and other regions to share best practices, improve processes and drive greater standardization and operational excellence.

What You’ll Bring

• Master’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Strategic Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant progressive experience within MedTech, Pharma or a similar industry.
• Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with statistical forecasting and translating complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong business acumen and experience with critical commercial processes, including sales performance reviews, project management, supply chain management and pricing analysis.
• Experience with key Business Intelligence principles and financial analysis.
• Excellent systems skills and experience, particularly with Excel, PowerPoint and SAP.
• Strong organizational, planning and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, work to deadlines and collaborate across functions.
• Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French. Project management certification, such as PRINCE2, is considered an asset.
