Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an industrial/technical engineering discipline.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Meet with customers to understand their technical requirements, challenges and business needs.
• Identify new business opportunities and support the development of customer accounts.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, presentations and other commercial documentation.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical and commercial solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering, project and technical teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Present solutions and proposals to customers and support negotiations through to contract.
• Follow up on leads, opportunities and ongoing projects.

BUSINESS CONSULTANT - BRUSSELS (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITION

We are looking for a Business Consultant for a customer-facing role, combining technical understanding with commercial and relationship-building skills.

You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, identify opportunities and develop the right solutions. With a background in an industrial engineering environment, such as automation, electromechanical engineering, industrial machinery or a similar field, you will be able to understand technical challenges and translate them into commercially viable solutions.

The role covers the full process from initial customer contact and requirements gathering through to preparing proposals, quotations and sales presentations. You will work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet the customer's needs.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an industrial/technical engineering discipline, such as automation, electromechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar field.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing, consulting, sales engineering or technical commercial role is an advantage.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to quickly understand complex customer requirements.
• Commercially minded, with a genuine interest in developing customer relationships and business opportunities.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• French is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with technical and commercial teams.
• Willingness to travel to customers when required.
• Proactive, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.
