Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Customer-focused Business Consultant in Belgium to blend technical understanding with commercial and relationship-building skills. You will work with customers to understand requirements, identify opportunities, and translate them into viable solutions.

The role covers the full cycle from initial contact to proposals and sales presentations, collaborating closely with engineering and technical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an industrial/technical engineering discipline (automation, electromechanical, mechanical, electrical or similar).
• Experience in a customer-facing, consulting or sales engineering role is advantageous.
• Strong technical understanding and ability to translate complex customer requirements into commercial solutions.
• Commercial mindset with a genuine interest in developing customer relationships and business opportunities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Dutch is essential; French is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Meet with customers to understand their technical requirements and business needs.
• Identify new business opportunities and support account development.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Translate customer requirements into clear technical and commercial solutions.
• Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to deliver suitable solutions.
• Present solutions to customers and support negotiations through to contract.
• Follow up on leads and ongoing projects.
• Attend customer meetings and site visits as required.
• Maintain understanding of company products and capabilities.
• Contribute to sales strategies and business growth.
