For a public organisation is running a digital transformation programme to digitalise its business processes. The programme significantly changes processes, business rules and tools.
Support for business teams is needed from the start, to encourage buy-in to the transformation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and operationalise the change management approach defined with the programme team.
- Gather the transformation challenges from business teams and relay them to the programme team.
- Work with the change management team (2 people), the programme team (programme manager, analysts, technical teams) and key business contacts (PMO, business managers, sponsor).
- Ensure that operational teams understand the challenges and adopt the new ways of working and the new tools.
- Help refine communication plans for internal and external stakeholders, in line with programme constraints.
- Build trust with key contacts in the business teams.
- Use and co-build the tools that support the transition from AS-IS to TO-BE, with a focus on the human aspects.
- Report to the lead change manager.
Profile
Education and experience
- Executive programme completed at a recognised management school (for example Vlerick, Solvay Business School, IMD or INSEAD) - confirmed level.
- Hands-on, on-site experience with demonstrated, tangible results.
- Experience in change management and in handling user resistance within a large-scale digital transformation, ideally in public administration.
- Good understanding of how people go through change.
- Familiarity with project management approaches and tools, and with project phases.

Location and conditions
- Location: Namur, hybrid.
- On-site presence: at least 60% of the time, more if needed.
- Workload: part-time at the start (3 to 4 days per week) for approximately the first 3 months, then a gradual ramp-up to 5 days per week. Terms to be discussed.
