Medista NV in Belgium is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to support our logistics and pharmaceutical operations. You will map applications, coordinate IT requirements, and drive small projects while ensuring clear communication with stakeholders and continuous process improvement.

You will work in a collaborative IT environment, liaising with external experts, coaching on impacts, and helping align IT initiatives with business goals.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of transportation and logistics; willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of pharmaceuticals; willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own agenda.
• Clear and fluent communication with colleagues.
• Basic English; knowledge of Dutch or French is an asset.
• Experience in Software/IT within an integrated IT environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision / Dynamics is a gamechanger.

Responsabilités

Business Analyst - IT

Proud of your profession, you will use your problem-solving skills in order to further automate and improve our ecosystem of tools. Your role will be mission-critical in our highly skilled logistics team since you will directly impact our future ways of working.

Your Role

• You will keep an overview of all software-related applications and how they interact.
• You actively liaise with our external IT-experts and coach them on the secondary impacts of their applications.
• You will organize and coordinate different IT requirements and complement this with your own experience in the light of future processes and ways of working.
• You are able to manage small IT projects independently and work with dedicated project managers for larger engagements.
• You help structure our IT team with your view on best practices and by providing the required documentation of your own work / review the documentation of the work done by external consultants.
• You will manage internal IT systems (software) to provide the entire organization with the benefits of it/digital.
• You will help solve day-to-day issues in a pragmatic manner.
• You are comfortable with direct stakeholder contact in an open and direct manner.

Your Background

• You have a basic understanding of the world of transportation and logistics or are willing to learn.
• You have a basic understanding of the world of pharmaceuticals or are willing to learn.
• You have organizational talent and can manage your own agenda in light of the different stakeholder priorities.
• You communicate fluently and clearly with colleagues.
• A basic command of English, knowledge of Dutch or French. Both is an asset.
• You have a prior work experience in Software/IT and a proven capabilities to work within an integrated IT environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Navision / Dynamics is a gamechanger!
